The other day we went up to Escondido to go to the other part of San Diego Zoo, which was more of a wild animal park.
You could see the parks in many different ways, the most expensive was the VIP tour for $550 dollars!!
There was a hot air balloon ride
A segway safari
A zipline safari
We decided to go traditional on a cart:
It definitely was a WILD park
It was a very HOT day, so we had to take several pit-stops and ice-cream breaks.. :D
We went to Asia and Africa on our safari.
Up close and personal with a rhino
The difference between the two zoo's I guess was that here there were less windows and the animals weren't that hidden. We got real close to them!
At the end of the day we got to see a cheetah and a dog run 100 m. No need to tell you the Cheetah won. It ran 100 m on 5,4 seconds!!
There were many nice things to see, but some of my favourite things were a baby gorilla, the baby elephants playing, the tigers, the lions, and of course the 100 meter Cheetah run:
Pretty awesome huh?!
