This Sunday there was Cityfest at Hillcrest. I didn't really know what it was, other than what was posted on the advertisements; music, culture, food and arts and crafts.
Really loud musicians
We had sushi in a restaurant right next to the stage, we thought the windows were going to explode.
5th Avenue was closed and turned into a street fair
Creepy doll-mask on the side of the guy
Lots of cool posters and cards to spice up your life
As you can see, I was very satisfied with my purchase
I found the perfect poster for me, a close-up further down.. Also, at the end of the day there was a huge announcement that Hillcrest was getting a new sign. It had cost their business associates $40-50,000 dollars!
But, to some disappointment, it was the same as the old one, only better-looking
After the party was over, we decided to go for some frozen yogurt. I have heard so much about Pinkberry so I had to try it.. I was kind of disappointed, it lacked variety compared to Yogurtland. The day before we had tried another kind; Golden Spoon. My verdict: Yogurtland still is the best! :D
Aliza tried the watermelon flavour
Salty caramel and Chocolate swirl with brownie-bites, chocolate crunch and nuts
My awesome poster
My new peacock necklace and ring (bought at a Vintage store and at the street fair)
I think I have a thing for peacock now a days, had to be the Katy Perry concert that influenced me.. haha..Don't worry, I won't wear my necklace with my peacock-dress.. :P
verry nice blog.
