Norwegian and American fusion food

I thought it was time to introduce the family to "risengrynsgrøt" (porridge) so I had my friends bring a package of it from Norway.

A lack of flat bread and elk/reindeer-sausages, which is traditionally eaten together/before/after the porridge, lead to a inventive creation by Karen:

First she broiled "tortillas" which turned crispy just like flat bread and then she added several exciting toppings, and some sausages and salami.

Jan gave me another baseball lesson after dinner. After we went to the last Padres game I became addicted to the game. Now the Playoffs have started and it is really exciting!

Paranormal Activity in San Diego

Yesterday we decided to see some San Diego movies, so we started out with The Anchorman, which is hilarious. After that we decided to see Paranormal Activity, and then we saw that it was also from San Diego, randomly!

I was acting all cool and saying that the movie didn't really creep me out.. After I had gone to bed, in the middle of the night, a glass bottle fell in the kitchen and after that I couldn't sleep for at least an hour. Then straight after my roommate's dog started barking, and it never barks in the night.. Then some sprinklers turned on outside.. It was all very strange and I was of course terrified.. Don't know if I dare to watch the second one.. LOL! Talk about calm and composed!

Even when my friend, Silje, was here we ordered straight after each other and said the same name... but...

 At least there seems to be a pattern with the name Celia...
